Ciputra World Jakarta (CWJ) will be built on 10 hectares of land on Jalan Prof. Dr. Satrio, Kuningan, South Jakarta. PT Ciputra Property Tbk has appointed RTKL - known as one of the best architecture consultants in the world, especially in the field of mixed-use design, as the team architect. In addition, Ciputra Property has also appointed Belt Collins Associate as the landscape designer for this superblock.
The development of CWJ is divided in three stages that each is located on Jalan Prof. Dr. Satrio Lot 3-5, Lot 6, and Lot 11. For the first phase, CWJ will be built on 5.5 hectares of land located in Lot 3-5. It will be a mixed-use complex that consists of shopping centers, office buildings, six-star hotel and apartments. For hotels and apartments, CWJ has been successful in making collaboration with Raffles and Somerset, the world class operators.
In general, CWJ incorporates the concept of fluidity and kaleidoscope inspired by HENDRA GUNAWAN’s painting, one of the Ciputra’s favorite painters. There will be a lot of elaboration in the form of colors and shapes. It will ignite such a motivation that is not merely commercial. This will be realized through the development of an art museum, covering 8,000 m2, located in the top of the shopping center.
